Open Modified Aston Martin Is Here
We have a chance to get to know new Aston Martin. Only in jpeg format, though. At least, this is something real. Behold the supercar – Aston Martin DB11 Volante. The detailed information is extremely thin on the ground but some facts can be gleaned.
Actually, Volante is a soft-top-convertible version of the DB11 Coupe that made its debut in March 2016. It’s hard to spot the differences in design on the published angles of the car. The aerodynamic shape is considered, the LED boomerangs are on their place, too. Therefore, it’s expected that the engine will be taken from the older fellow, presumably, the 608bhp bi-turbo 5.2-litre V12 plus the ZF eight-speed-automatic transmission. The acceleration will be less impressive: while the Coupe zaps from 0 to 60mph in 3.9 seconds, the DB11 Volante is supposed to break the barrier in 4.3 seconds.
The caption on the boot and the sides implies that we’ll get all the answers in a year and a half. Hmm, the car seems to be ready… Probably, Aston Martin is going to surprise us even more.
